Just found your blog and so happy to be able to see new stuff as you make it. I found a reproduction of one of your paintings (I think it was Crimson Malay)in a store a few years ago and absolutely fell in love with it but I was living with roommates at the time and didn't want to spring art on them:) Unfortunately the piece wasn't named and so I had no idea how to find the artist when I bought my own place. But I literally thought about it ALL the time. I would search art.com at least once a month to find it, but going through 18,000+ pieces of art is tedious. Then, one day, completely by chance I happened to hop onto their site and yours was featured on their banner...I was thrilled!!!! Just redid my kitchen and about to purchase Light & Shade for the dining room. And I just found all the bird prints and can't wait to start collecting them for a framed art collage!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE EVERYTHING YOU DO!!!!!
Anyone who knows me, and has come to spend time with me as I paint, knows that my studio is a cramped space, overflowing with used canvases and panels, tubes full of posters and containers of gesso and matte medium, not an ideal space to sit down to have a conversation, or to stay much longer than a few minutes to watch me finish a layer of stenciling. So I took my studio to the web, a place where my friends could sit down without feeling snubbed by the fact that I can't offer a chair for them to sit on (the one in my studio being covered by gardening books and fabric catalogs).
My life is full, overflowing. I'm a painter, a writer, a mother, a procrastinator and a daydreamer. Maybe there isn't time to fit it all into one life, but I'll keep trying. DELIVER ME (Spring 2014, Bloomsbury Spark), PERFECTED (Summer 2014, Entangled),
